New development for Tyger Valley
A new development, which will cost a total of R124m is to be built in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town. The four storey office blocks will provide 8 600sq m of offices and will be linked by a common podium with a two level parking basement with bays for 343 vehicles.
The development is an initiative from Charles Potgieter and Nedbank Corporate Property Finance (Cape Town) to make Cape Town’s Northern suburbs a more exclusive corporate neighbourhood.
It will be situated just off Willie van Schoor Drive on the northwest side of the hill overlooking Tyger Falls and the Bellville Velodrome. Office space is selling at R12 500 per sq m and the first two sectional title office blocks in this development was sold out within 12 months.
The sq m price forecast for January next year will be slightly higher, making the launch price very competitive in today’s market. The new development and its prices compare well with new office space in Century City and the Tyger Valley Waterfront.
