Century City hosts new development
A new development of 179 apartments, townhouses and villas, called Waterstone, is being launched at Century City. The cost of this prestigious development is around R200-million.
With 53 water-fronting villas situated on a private island, Waterstone will be one of the most sought-after residential addresses in Cape Town. It will also host 112 low-rise, walk-up apartments and 13 townhouses.
Studio apartments are available with entry level accommodation within a low-rise development situated in beautiful gardens. Security is of the highest standard and some of the luxuries include a swimming pool, small kids play park and an older kid’s kick-ball oval. All apartments will have terraces and/or balconies. Studio apartments will have a flat screen TV as well as a surround sound system installed. Ground floor apartments will have both terraces and walled yards, providing ample outdoor space.
Studio and one bedroom units will each have one undercover parking bay while the two bedroom units will have two. Maximum privacy is provided with the majority of apartments having north-facing bedrooms, living rooms and balconies.
The architectural style of Waterstone is modern but not over-trendy to ensure a timelessness to the development. The development is designed by architects Maas & Coetzee.
The three bedroom townhouses, which all front onto a 12m to 14m wide canal, all have a single garage, three additional parking bays and a private back garden. The living area is upstairs and the en-suite bedrooms are downstairs.
The most exclusive residential units at Century City will be the 53 stand-alone luxury villas surrounded by water. Buyers will have a choice between double storey villas on the banks of the canal overlooking Century City’s Intaka Island nature conservation area, or single storey homes with wooden decks overhanging a canal.
Prices for the exclusive villas range between R2.4m to R4m and include three en-suite bedrooms, large open plan living and dining rooms, a TV room, kitchen with separate scullery and a study. All villas will have internal gas fires, double garages, external built-in braais on covered verandahs and water features.
All homes are designed to attract the outdoors and attract buyers from all age groups. With water everywhere, great outdoor activities can be enjoyed, while you’ll still be living in the “city”. You will truly have the best of both worlds.
